If you are traveling through Colorado then Garden of the Gods is one place you shouldn’t miss. I have traveled across every state in the United States taking in the beauty of our country, and Garden of the Gods was one of my top spots. Most of the formations are visible from the road. It is an easy drive, taking about 30 minutes. Of course, that time depends on how many times you stop or how fast the driver in front of you goes. They have a few trails that are beginner level, but most are moderate. My husband and I hiked several of the trails, averaging from half mile to two miles depending on how far you go per each trail. Some we hiked the full distance taking in the beauty. After the first few trails I learned quickly to carry extra film with me.
