From blueprint dreams to vibrant expression, Palencia artist LIsette's creativity started at a young age. From the age of seven, she made her own doodles, fed the blueprint machine her designs, and mass produced them. Left a single mother after a tragic accident, art became her therapy.

Branching off from the commercial art world, she obtained a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies (SIIC), followed by a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Creative Inquiry program, at CIIS in 2015.

She has spent over twenty years teaching art workshops. She works in large scale formats embodying the entire piece. In her studio you may find concrete, wood, wire, oils, tempera and miscellaneous trinkets, that become a background for her unique style.
